No Cydia though jailbroken with SPIRIT - GSM-Forum

HI ALL,

I HAVE AN IPHONE 3GS 3.1.3 (7E18), modem firmware 05.12.01 already activated. i run spirit and everything went ok but there is no CYDIA on the springboard.

what could be the problem or what i'm i doing wrong????

have jailbroken and unlocked three 3Gs this same way and all went well.

Searched all the icons and there's no cydia.searched before i asked what the problem could be.any more ideas dev-team?????

it'll interest you to note that this is a new iphone 3Gs.was on at&t and already activated, so all i had to do was run spirit to jailbreak and install cydia.

NOW I CANT FIND CYDIA ON SPRINGBOARD.

don't have shsh backup/on saurik's server so restore might not work for now as i don't want 4.0 os.

have run spirit a few times and on a different pc.everything runs ok but there is no cydia on springboard.

any more ideas????

tried the fix but still no success.will return the handset to the owner as i've no clue what the problem is with the handset.

The fact that it's already activated means the owner won't lose the data and i don't want that to happen.

Thanx guys for all your help. Found cydia after doing a search in iphone. I guess the springboard was full so cydia icon couldn't be displayed.
