Safari Can't Open The Page, Because It Can't Find The Server - GSM-Forum

Hi Everyone,

I have unlocked an iPhone, its running 1.1.4 and all SIM cards work for calls & SMS.

When i try and load the web via Safari i am getting the following error:-

Safari Can't Open The Page, Because It Can't Find The Server, i click OK then get "Could not activate EDGE: You are not subscribed to EDGE

This is happening no matter what SIM card i try.

Can anyone please assist?? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Yes sorry should have put that on the original post, yes can connect using WIFI OK, I have also tried to Reset all settings via the settings menu with no luck

hi,

there is no reason for your error message but the edge settings are not correct, u have to place them in ( settings/general/network/edge).

contact your service provider to obtain the correct apn, user name and password.
