Member: 40202 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | question about unlocking I have a new Nokia 5100 phone that I am having a problem trying to Unlock. I looked up my operator code for Microcell in Canada (30237) Then looked up my IMEI # from my phone (351502000088831) Then I used two different DCT4 code generator programs (DCT4 Calculator v1.0b by EnRox 2003 and Dark DCT4 Calculator v1.07) to get the unlock codes. I selected "ASIC type 2" when getting the codes. I took my SIM card out, powered on the phone and punched in the code "#pw+xxxxxxxxxxx+1#. This didn't work, so I tried the +7 code. This also did not work. I went back to the DCT4 code generator programs and got the "v2" codes and tried them. First the ... +1 code, then the +7 code. After that, it said something like Unlock Failed, or "Unable to Unlock" I can't remember exactly. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I read up on this a lot before doing this, maybe I missed something.. Thanks Scott |

Member: 40202 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks but I guess its too late, I will need to use a cable. Can I use bWinLock to unlock my phone? I have the DKU-5 USB cable which I have used to load Java Applications and Ringtones etc, can I use this cable to unlock, or do I need to purchase a serial cable? thanks for the help Scott |
