Member: 70819 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Sagem My X2 unlock code I have a Sagem My X2 that I would like to unlock, but I've got conflicting reports from various posts on whether it's possible to use the logging tool on this model or if you need a special Sagem dongle with test points - so I haven't bought a data cable yet in case it's not going to help. So I'm just posting here in case anyone can work out the Phone ID from this information (not really thinking so, but wouldn't it just be great Network: Virgin UK IMEI: 35283100634064-2 Numbers on label: 352831006340642 and 251382825/ B2003 and F349/03 Thanks in advance for unlocking code, but also for definitive information on what equipment I need.. Member: 70819 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Ok bR, thanks.. I think Code Reader will do it so I'll try to build a cable from old components and see if I can fix it that way Hardly worth buying a cable for a single phone, and I'm normally only into Symbian phones. Was just hoping that someone might be able to decipher the phone ID based on the label #'s, hell you knever knowif there's a Sagem employee lurking or something |

The code reader/ dongle stuff will set you back £100 so forget that route, unless your'e planning on unlocking loads of Sagems. What I would suggest is, buy a data cable, which you can get for £10 from ebay. Then using something like Telmem or MY-Discover, collect the data from field 0 and field 5709. Post another 19 questions on the forum, then post the info from these 2 fileds, and I can guarantee, that some nice chap or chappess, will be knocking on your door with your unlock code. Keat |

I dont understand.. how can, taking a phone to a shop for unlocking, that costs £15 ukp be cheaper than buying a data cable for less than £10 ukp and posting a few more questions..?? Plus the guy (now owning a data cable) has the added advantage of being able to upload ring tones and images... You proffessionals.. you want it both ways... lol |

I guess it's like some silly "hacker's pride" or something don't blame me.. I can't help it Anyway thanksx1000 to you and the other guys for the info, in fact that phone is not that important to me that I want to spend money on it (either for an unlocker or a cable), it was more of an "intellectual challenge" if I could manage to get it unlocked, but I guess it'll end up just rotting unless I have to stumble over a data cable somewhere Descore | |
