Hi, I have the same problem as many others here. Bought phone on eBay as 'unlocked' but get sim MEP lock error.

IMEI - 356328002581606

This phone is an xmas present for my girlfriend so I will be indebted to anyone who can help. Thanks!

Genuinely sorry if I have missed the point of this forum or caused you any angst, but I am not an expert either with GSM Phones or forums. However I am not trying to sponge it was simple desperation to put right a christmas present.

I wont need the codes now anyway as the excellent Neil at mobile solutions sorted it for me.

you took it to a proffesional who unlocked it for you. This forum is not for people joining to get Free codes. Its for people in the business to share knowledge, the rest of you should pay people like us whose profession is to unlock etc, dont you agree? Any real unlocker here like myself or Unlock_Ireland who dont have the infinity dongle have a right to ask a fellow unlocker for a code if he wants to offer that. But all you people who have obviously joined just to receive a Free code are Spongers, simple as that!
