if we change imei of 9900. will bbm and bis work or not?

i changed imei in bb9900 and now phone not work, is detected by chimera but not work !!!

what do u mean by phone not work? i asked about bis service and bbm.

now after write flash by chimeratool phone work again but with imei 0044....
any help from team

About the BB BIS or BES service we don't have information. Need check
