Member: 1787203 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 23,786 | DownloadMigration Help- version 7.98.1529 Download Migration The new ChimeraTool versions after version 7.70.1439 will store most setting and date in a local file based database. This means your downloaded files from old ChimeraTool (version 7.70.1439 or older) must be migrated to use with the new version. This will be automatically done when you press the big "Migrate Now!" button appearing on the main panel. The migration process may take some time, especially if you have a lot of downloads from the old version. WARNING! During the process you will NOT be able to run procedures! So make sure you only press it when you have time for the migration. FAQ: Why is migration needed? So you can keep your already downloaded files from older versions of ChimeraTool What files need to be migrated? Every file downloaded with ChimeraTool version 7.70.1439 or older. How long will migration take? Depends on what kind, and how many downloads you have. Our estimates are:
When do I have to migrate? Whenever you want! Just note that you can't use your old files before you do it, and can't run procedures while migration is happening. What will happen when I press the button? You'll see a progress bar telling you how much estimated time is left to finish all files from that kind of download. Please note that each download type takes different amount of times. During migration your phone list will disappear and you can not run procedures. You also will not be able to start a new download manually When the migration finished, everything will return to normal, and the program will see your old downloads. Help! I can't find the "Migrate Now!" buttons. That means that you are either not logged in, already did the migration, or have no files to migrate. You can continue your work as normal! Can I use my downloads after migration with an older version of Chimera? No! If you plan to do that, take a copy of the ChimeraFiles folder first. Migration changes the files, and old version will not be able to use them. |
