Question Is converting to sigma plus being forced?

Is converting to sigma plus being forced? my box is is on 1.42 i tried to update s-card firmware and its saying please use sigmaplus software.

You can stay on your current version or upgrade to Sigma Plus (if desired), but under new terms of use. After the upgrading, you gain access to the full version of the product + bonus time.

i could not upgrade the firmware on my smart clip to use the last version so i had no choice but to install sigma plus to upgrade the s-card firmware.there was no choice i was forced to upgrade. the link above it says if you update you get a year. today is sept 5th 2024. y'all giving me 3 months not 1 year of service (ends on dec 5th 2024). this is crazy. Is there anyway I can get myother 9 months added ? or if i can downgrade to the old version that would be even better because thats all i wanted.
