How to Root G935P PG1 Firmware? - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I am trying to unlock a G935P @ PG1 Firmware. The log says Device Unlock Success but when I put in AT&T Sim Card, The phone still says invalid sim. Do I need to root the phone in order for this to work? How do I root the phone at this firmware? CAn someone link me files or root method please?

Hello
Already posted you can try G935T root and use sprint unlock. once its done reflash stock boot.img
btw i know it will hang and stuck on logo. but as long its give adb and root just use without question.

What is the G935T Root Method? I cant seem to find accurate solution on forums.

I flashed Samsung_G935P_VPU2APC5_v6.0.1 Firmware to phone and it was able to be unlocked at this firmware. Then I upgraded back to PG1 Stock and unlock seems to still be working for Domestic USA (ATT / TMOBILE)
