did you selected Box port?

did you used uart c3300k or c3303k cable ?
what model you trying ?

May be shuld cover the battery pin..

Did all the above instruction but i need only info which uart cable i use i bought gcpro dongle dosnt come with uart so can either use zx3 box or octopus box?

Hello
You are using "Selected Port ssudmdm0000 = COM231" which is wrong you have to use BOX port and plug cable in box and phone.
Most phone need MEID CERT you can not repair direct just MEID without cert it will show imei cert fail..
Lucky you can use any SM-G900 imeicert as MEID CERT WRITE option and gcpro will fix meid,imei to one in cert file.

You can use battery tape on BSI point.
You can use *#0*#
You can use via adb and root temporary ENABLE UART in gcpro. after restart its gone.
There is many option all is already mention in updatexx\HelpFile\ Try to read meid cert write helpfile

GCPRO do not care what interface you are using or what cable.. use any box with there cables.

You can use UART from Z3X box bro. You must have GCPROKEY and Z3X Box plugged into your computer at the same time in order for UART to work.

Is your UART cable working on the Z3X box?? If you can it should work 100% with GCPROKEY. Make sure you have USB Serial Port showing up in Windows Device Manager. This is the port used for UART. Make sure when you use UART you select "USB SERIAL PORT" in GCPROKEY or Z3X Box and it should work...

when i try to use the z3x box for uart , i get

i am trying to use a z3x box for uart with my gcprokey dongle but when i try to do things it gives me this

Port Already Open Its In Use...

can anyone help me with this. why is it saying the port is already in use?

Hello
if software show port is in use then its in use by other tool in background or bad driver.
Please check your pc for driver and make sure all other tools are closed no background running .

yes , i know that is what it means but i can't find any other software or device that is using that port. i even did a fresh install of windows 8.1 and only installed the driver for the box. it is the only port show but i get the same message.

did you end up figuring this out tornado? i am still have the invalid port issue. so i can not use uart. i feel like i wasted my money on this since i can't use uart. without being able to use uart it is no different than my z3x box.

How you think we can guess what your issue without any log or details ?
You have error con port in use or any other ? use any image hosting web post screenshot of problem or contact me on skype i check via team.

Using uart is basic thing on repairing samsung phones, you can use search there many user posted there logs.
