Here's the latest Samsung S7 (G930x QC) and S7Edge (G935x QC)
Eng Boot Root for 2017 firmwares including Nougat, helpful for repair work.
Note that these are for ALL QC - QualComm versions only!

Samsung_G930x_QC_Eng_Boot_Root_v2017-03-01.TAR

Samsung_G935x_QC_Eng_Boot_Root_v2017-03-01.TAR

Samsung_G93xx_CF-SU_v2.79.ZIP
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767142260

After flashing the appropriate Eng Boot Root file for your model,
unzip Samsung_G93xx_CF-SU_v2.79.ZIP, and run Root.BAT for a permanent root.
Note that there's some lag which is being worked on.
Also, this last step is not necessary for just repair work.

Hope my post is not gonna be delete this time. I did test this file today on my Tmo edge S7 and works like a charm, even i feel an improvement on battery. Thanks, BiIIA and my Regards to JustMeJose and his dad.

No bro this is Qualcomm based chipset, won't get unlocked directly only via app

If u root ur phone, must flash the stock rom to repair that...any ways flash the full firmware to fix any issues...

Flashing engine root means, you must have stock rom to fix those issues but, In my case(Tmo Edge s7) did not experience kinda problems at all.

in most 7.0 of s7 and s7 edge will face bootloop guys this is not supported for 7.0
the files are not public they cost 100$ each

Files works properly with no issues at all; at least on S7 Tmob Edge.
