SM-G920A Modem alive?


When using exynos unlock it fails every time saying Is modem port alive?

I select on scan ports Modem and it keeps failing. Even in Odin when i try to write modem odin is stuck not moving. I check baseband it is OK.

Phone is on latest 6.0.1

At *#0808# last option selected and usb degub enabled. Always get this:

Using Version...1.0.0.0045
Selected Port ssudmdm0000 = COM8
Selected Model SM-G920A
Selected Task SAMSUNG Exynos Unlock

SAMSUNG Exynos Unlock started...
Searching phone...

no reply Are you sure modem port is alive ??..

!!! Fail !!!!

Exynos do not need to change via 0808. set again mtp,adb and it will start working.

look like ur usb in phone no good please check it

I found out the phone was using a Sprint USB flex. Back cover even says SM-G920P.. Looks like someone put the ATT logic board in this phone.

I think you should press "allow" when phone ask if you want to share files with the PC or Laptop.
