I have this SM-G920A

Wiped EFS,

UART not detecting

Using Version...1.0.0.0025
Selected Port VCP2 = COM74
Selected Model SM-G920A
Selected Task SAMSUNG READINFO

Searching phone...

No reply on samsung mode.. DIAL *#0*# AND TRY AGAIN...

Phone Not Found Retry Please.
Total Time Take...00:00:11

*#0*# works, but will not detect phone.. tried in stock firmware, and also in Factory Binary.. Both does not detect Phone..

have you tried different computer? if you have windows 10 then restore it to date when it worked, try another phone see if that one works. In my case it turned out to be my pc

Computer is working fine.. It can read other phones... This note 5, ok OKC rom. Pic not detecting it at all.. No adb, no mtp, no DM. Nothing.. When I plug in, it only charges..

But if I put into download mode, I am able to flash via Odin.. So charge port is ok...

I have the same problem with G925V

I have recently same problem with a g925a com port can't detected with emulated octopus port. So I decide try to emulate port with bst box and voila. Worked.

Just try to emulate com port with other tool

It worked after trying a million times..... Still not sure what the issue was with this phone.. Possible charge port.. But can't be sure of it
