As test, I flashed a G930P on purposes with the full combi firmware including the emmc_appsboot and boot file, and sure enough it has errored out during the initial flash, BUT once I have manually put the phone back into download mode it went through just fine on the second run. Most likely the first flash run has updated some bootloader file even though it has errored out on some partition, which has allowed the subsequent flash to go through fully. Now just because it has worked for me, please proceed at your own risk! | |
