- Download custom recovery for K5 Plus - HERE (twrp-k5-3.0.2-r3_scritch007.img)
- Download latest SuperSU - HERE

Instructions :

1. Activate the Developer options (Settings> About phone> Device Information> to tap 7 times in Build number)
2. Enable USB debugging (Settings> Developer> USB Debugging)
3. Enable OEM unlock (Settings> Developer> Unlock OEM)
4. Connect the phone with the USB cable to the computer
5. Install the drivers that come on the CD cell partition.
6. Install "Minimal adb and FlashBoot" (if not already installed).
7. Download the TWRP recovery created by @Shreps, and copy it to the folder where abd is installed.
8. Run the Minimal adb and FlashBoot program or open the command line in the folder where the abd installed.
9. Run the command "adb devices" to confirm the connection. If you have never done before in this cell, the cell must confirm the adb connection.
10. When the adb confirm the connection, run the "adb reboot bootloader" Fastboot command to enable the functionality.
11. If you want a temporary recovery run the "fastboot boot twrp-k5-3.0.2-r3_scritch007.img" command. If you want to permanently run the "fastboot flash recovery twrp-k5-3.0.2-r3_scritch007.img" command.
12. You can now use the TWRP recovery in the K5 / K5 plus!

- Download attached scatter file
- Download TWRP recovery - HERE
- Download SuperSU - HERE or some latest from my previous post

Instructions :

1. Download TWRP recovery, download scatter, put both files in same folder
2. Open SPFlashTools, load scatter file, check if recovery is loaded and ticked, press download, connect powered off phone to cable
3. Download supersu and put on memory card, insert it in phone
4. Reboot to cwm/TWRP recovey (volume up + power on)
5. Select update from sdcard, select supersu zip file

don,t try to root lenovo becoz i have been tried in marshmallow version but alot of lenovo root failed many of root success

You probably dont know difference between "safe" and "unsafe" root.

Safe root is via custom recovery, injecting SuperSU Installer (binaries and startup script(s)).

Potentially unsafe root is via all those Rooting apps, pc softwares etc.,
where potential exploits, and unsafe SuperUser apps can screw/crash the system.

Try to distinguish those two scenarios.
