Member: 2743735 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | HTC 10 Unlock Issue I'm trying to Unlock a Verizon HTC 10 on Android 8.0. Using the special unlock for HTC 10, I connected the SD to the computer, copied the files successfully then tried booting the phone into ftm mode, but it just restarts. The message still says there's a non-verizon sim and the screen still says locked. Phone screen imgur (dot) com /XdKivVU Program screen imgur (dot) com /7jHZZkd |

Reading secure flag information ... (bootloader) Device security level S-ON, reboot count 0 Your device is S-ON. You cannot boot to FTM in this state. Please do this: 1. Connect clip to SD slot of your phone. 2. Insert PowerAdapter into the clip and connect it to your PCs usb port. 3. Run XTC 2 Tool, open "PowerAdapter" tab. 4. Reboot phone to donwload mode, make sure you have "SD MOUNTED" message on the phone now. 5. Press "Write security" having S-OFF (0) selected as an option. 6. Wait for the process to finish. Reboot phone to download mode and confirm it's S-OFF now. Once done, process with "Special unlock / IMEI" as instructed there (same FTM mode way as you tried). Once the phone is unlocked, you can S-ON again if you want. | |
