HTC 10: Warning! Your phone does not see the XTC 2 Clip [SOLVED]

My phone is not detecting the XTC 2 Clip.
It keeps showing "SD NOT MOUNTED", and XTC2Clip gives a "FAILPERMISSION DENY (NOT_FIND_SMART_IO)" error.

- XTC2Clip in the SD card reader for PC works fine - drive is detected

- Tried all 3 flex cables; they work in the PC, not in the HTC10

- I'm using the SD card sled that came with the phone; sd card is 100% aligned properly in the phone.

- Tried "Clip filesystem repair" option; no luck

I read another post that had the same problem with HTC10; Has anyone had success with this phone? Any ideas what I can try next?

Copying files worked.

Actually I had to run the repair again, then copy files, then it worked.
