HTC Desire 530 Unlock Problem " Failed to Enable SIMLOCK " [SOLVED]
 

HTC Desire 530 is giving error on Unlocking.

Unlock Bootloader is DONE

Phone S-OFF is DONE

Custom Recovery is DONE.

When I put phone is FTM Mode and press SIMLOCK TOOL , it says :

" Chosen_item 2
Loading simlock tool ...
Failed to enable SIMLOCK "

I have tried couple of time, even with xtc clip i copied specail files couple of times, but still showing error.

You don't need to use this.

Please use "Special unlock/IMEI" tab.

SAME PROBLEM what should I do after s-off and copy files from special unlock tab .. ?
I insert clip in sd card off phone and press FTM phone phone went to same as picture

It means that files are not copied correctly, clip ejected too quick or no safe removal was done.

Try to repair FS:

then copy files again, do Safe eject and then insert into phone and press "FTM".

This should work.

Unlock this device is easy no needed special Knowledge to unlock this device... First tick OEM unlock, Unlock Bootloader, Flash TWRP, Boot to Bootloader, Reboot Recovery, in TWRP do a S-OFF, Copy Special/IMEI tab HTC Desire 530, Power off phone, Insert Clip in phone, Power on phone using Volume up and power 5 seconds, realease power button, but volume up pressed, phone enter to mode Diag after that the phone reboot automatically and you phone is unlock sim card done...

same issue even after repair and format file system and i tried sprint tab nothing worked

My problem was solved.
The Memory Chip we insert inside the phone was not going in properly.

I changed that strip and redone whole procedure , It worked like Charm.

So I suggest you to change this strip and MAKE SURE its going 100% inside the phone .

I think you r wright because was change old orignal strip with new one and found its not work with many phones:o:o

i don't think it's the strips i have change to over 4 new once but still same error i guess the unlock still has a little bug maybe in next update xclip should check well.

I just unlocked 6 pcs more , there is no problem at all.

Ok, I've been facing the exact same issue, i tried almost every Flex i have but nothing changed, same problem,
After all, i tried to go another way, software unlock, then i found this thread,
Which is for 626 but it works on 530 without a single change,
You may want to give it a try,
Solution tested by me, and everything is working great,
My phone was locked at T-Mobile if you should know,

i just got new srips and still same error i tried 3 new once pls whats really wrong

Repair filesystem of your clip also.
