To manage the files you should use "XTC 2 Tool" -> SD Mode tab, select the settings you need and files will be automatically created.

my y adapter wasn't working at all. I bought it from xtc2 website. so today I had a phone that sd slot was not working.....I open my y cable and saw that the solder had spread into another point. I removed the solder from the other point n y cable started working fine. now I can do all jobs no need for sd slot

Not all phones are working with Y-cable, but most of them do, so you are safe

That's correct, only use the y-cable if the phone doesn not have an sdcard slot, because the built in one just works better.
