most likely your phone has mi account active and you want to bypass it by upgrading it to android 11 or 12 with suitable patch security level..

Mine is also doing this, my question now is what is the way forward to solve this Redmi note 9s.


It happened that if you have android 12 you can bypass the Mi account but once the Mi account is on and you have lower android version like android 10 and the bootloader is locked, you cannot bypass the Mi account without Qualcom CPU Dril and that drilling is too risky.


So what can we do on this?

if there is a way to update it to android 12 even if with bootloader still locked and then bypass the Mi account, please show us...but if there is no solution on that now, please create the solution and help us out.

Sideload flashing needs Authorization from Xiaomi Server. They can refuse request if:

- Phone has Find My Device ON
- You are trying to downgrade
- You are using unofficial firmware
- Xiaomi does not allow that firmware for some internal reason

So there is no hope for us except if the product supporters will introduce solution for flashing it without Authorization from Xiaomi since our own have "Phone has Find My Device ON"?


Please if the product supporters later have the solution around that I will like to use it for this my Redmi Note 9s

unlock bootloader and you can flash phone in fastboot mode to required firmware to remove mi account from xioami devices, but unfortunately boot loader unlocking isn't supported for all models.
