arte 100 software or hardware problem - GSM-Forum

pls i have the above phone arte 100 whether there is a sim inside the phone or not it says invald or missing sim.i want to know it it need to be unlock or it as a hardware problem.normally it should detect a sim but say wrong card or something.the info on the phone are does
Rom ver 1.12.405.1WWE
Rom Date 9/12/06
Radio ver 02.67.90
Protcol ver 41.13.28
ExtRom ver 1.12.405.101
Also the memory card slot does not work.
any solution to thes problem

First apply USPL then de-brand your phone. if its branded like Orange or any other operator and then ck again.
