[Help] MDA T-Mobile Sim UnLock - GSM-Forum

Hi..guys i just bought a MDA from T-Mobile, but curently i bring it to asia and i wanted to use with Asia sim Card, but it always says sim lock. Is there anyone can help me..

I try to upgrade by using O2-XDA IIs rom, it comes out Radio Rom Error...Thanks

hello acturaly , if you want to unlock your device, there is a simple way to do it. just use the SD card to write the unlocked backup image to your phone. if you need more info just contact me.

sorry here is a more simple way to unlock it

What the T-Mobile is can Unlock.
Software is can Unlock HP 6315.
I have many prolem and a lot of time to find crack it.
But can not.
What about you can tell me HP 6315.

This software not work on MDA devices.

Can you explain more from "just use SD card to write the unlocked backup image"?

Is there really any chance to UnLock MDA T-Mobile, since i try to upgrade it into O2 XDA IIs asia rom, the radio rom always refuse to change.What can i do is to upgrade rom and extended rom only.

So is there any solution, that i can change the radio rom, without paying Euro 30.

Unfortunately there is no free solution to unlock T-Mobile MDA Series at the moment, but if you want to give it a try by downgrading/upgrading radio rom then follow the following procedure...

Use latest version of winrar to extract a downloaded Rom upgrade utility. (Example: MDA3_TMUK_v106160_SHIP0307.exe)

After extraction you will have the following file.

Rom Files:

ms_.nbf (Extended Rom Image)
nk.nbf (OS/WinCE Rom Image)
radio_.nbf (Radio Rom Image)

Other Files:

BaUpgradeUt.exe (Upgrade utility)
EnterBL.exe
GetDeviceData.exe
RUU.conf (Upgrade utility Configuration File)
RUU.dll

1: Now you have to delete the unwanted rom images and keep the only image you want to upgrade for Example if you want to upgrade radio rom only then delete ms_.nbf & nk.nbf and keep radio_.nbf...

2: Open RUU.conf in notepad and add the following line in the last of this config file.

[CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1

3: Run BaUpgradeUt.exe and follow the on screen instructions.

i try to follow the instruction that pawaa gave.But the problem is i can't upgrade the Radio rom...it always freeze at 1%, so at the end i can't really unlock the phone...

I think this was out of contex right ?? I was discusing about T-Mobile MDA III and suddenly it was P910 come out
