my xda orbit dead

well, now after flashing my xda orbit ( arte200 ) with a BAD ROM, and after, I switch on the phone and it start with O2 logo ( it's the first start after do a hard reset " left and right boutton + stylo reset ) and i see just white screen when i try to touch my screen with stylos for a few hits i see the option who ask me to align the screen u know i do that good,after done, i see again the withe screen and the phone just freeze, i try to swith off it from the power botton but he dosn't respond.

Ok now, i hold the voice and power bottons + i reset with stylos ( i keep holding the voice and power btons ) i have a RED, GREEN and Blue colors, when i put my phone to USB i see that in the left down the screen show me that it's connected with USB, so i found some Roms, but i have always problem as : ERROR UPDATE or INVALID VENDER ID ... i'm really confused please i want help really i do need it.

and you know somethings ?? hahaha it's not mine i mean XDA ORBIt really waw i'm shocked ...

1- I start the START_USPL.EXE, i just see black windows ( CMD ) and it's hide ( so it's not start already.
2- When i execut " ROMUpdateUtility " with the help Red, Green and blue colors, he switch off and switch on show me the level of progress and when he arrive to 100% after few seconds he give me Error as : ERROR UPDATE.

Really i'm confused i don't know how to resolv this problem ....

Hi!

Check the xda-developers.com for solution.
If USPL doesn't work then you have to get the original ROM for your device and try to flash it via USB or SDcard.

Dont just try several ROM for your Orbit.

which country are you from ? send it to O2 service center. this is my opinion.

If you have flashed your device and not cid unlocked it, your device maybe salvagable if you can get it into bootloader mode.

Hold down the voice speed dial button and soft reset - you should then enter bootloader mode 'multicolored' screen'

If you do, attach device to pc via usb cable (a small usb will appear bottom left of screen) and flash factory rom. (run rom executable or RUU updater from pc) You do not need to be activesynced to do this.

Before you flash again with a non-factory rom, your device MUST be cid unlocked.

If you cannot enter bootloader mode your bootloader has been damaged and your device will need to be sent away for repair

Artemis Update SPL (USPL) v.01 - Another way to flash *ANY* rom to your device!
This is a patched SPL for HTC Artemis devices (HTC P3300 / T-Mobile MDA compact III / O2 XDA Orbit / Dopod P800W / Dopod P800 / Dopod M700 / Orange SPV M650).


This SPL is based on original Artemis 1.11 SPL but includes 3 patches:

1. SuperCID / SecLevel=0 (set 32)
2. Does not check Model ID
3. Does not check signature*

(*) code must be formally signed i.e. contain properly-formated signatures on their places, however no checking are performed against them.

This means you can flash ANY ROM to your Artemis after flashing USPL on it, no need to pay for CID unlock anymore!

now time for wm6 upgrade after the above two steps follow this instructions
1. If you presently run a factory wm5\wm6 rom then uspl cid unlock your rom before you flash cooked rom.

2. If you have a cooked rom on your device already and are changing to another cooked rom (especially if rom is from a different cook) i would recommend you:
a) flash back to factory rom first
b) then cid unlock
c) then flash the new cooked rom.
This is because sometimes the new cooked rom does not function 100% on first flash and a repeat flash is required.

3.Alternatively (especially if you dont have access to the factory rom) flash the new cooked rom twice to be sure new rom has taken properly and if device is already cid unlocked there is no need to cid unlock again

Just extract a ROM upgrade file(usually an .exe) to a folder,you will find an ARTEIMG.nbh file.Copy that to a formatted (FAT16) SD card and you can upgrade your device from card.Prasad posted an ARTEIMG file above.

Similar problem here, i have an Artemis 100 Wm5 come from Netherlands and i want to change language in it, so i do this,
USpl for Cid unlock and all ok now i have
Ipl 1.12.0001
SPL 1.11.cmon

and this is quite, after this i try to update italian Wm6 offical rom
P3300 Italy 3.13.408.1_02.94.90 Ship R but always receive this error
error 244 ivalid Model ID, and also if i use
1.12.405.01_026790_wwe_ship receive same error,
the strange is that i make a lot of this phone and no problem, but i notice this problem phone enter in boot mode only whit program manually can't enter.
If someone know why please post a solution.

Finally i manage to solve problem, now work perfect.
The problem is that phone not work sometime whit Uspl so need to use another flash Rom and after all ok.

yes, either make GOLDCARD or flash back exact ROM from same CID, language, brand that was on device.
