O2 Atom Signal Problem - GSM-Forum

I have Atom Pure with signal problem, it always show searching signal. it can not make emergency call and cannot find network in manual selection mode.

In hardware test shows that GSM part is OK and shows the IMEI.

I think maybe it's related to hardware problem, and i just need to ask if some one here have experience on repairing hardware on PPC devices.

Does the mainboard and other components can take the heat from hot air soldering ? ( I'm afraid that it will damage the processor )

I need to take a look on rf part.

or maybe anyone here have the solution ?

First try to do a hard reset.If it doesn't help,check antenna connection,then rehot the radio unit or upgrade the radio ROM.

on software part, i've done everything (different radio rom, up and down ROM, etc). in fact i've rebuild the bootloader too using jtag.

Already check the antena connection also, I'll try rehot the radio unit.

Would you please help me to locate the RF IC ? I'm newbie in PPC hardware.
