Hey kingtyce,
The install went fine, but when I went to open Vehicle Manager, it tells me that "VehicleMgr is not a valid Pocket PC application". It shows up on the PDA as an exe file. Argh!! Any other hints or suggestions?? Do you have the cab file?

Nope I don't have a .cab file...... It's a pc exe file... You need to run the installer on the pc and have it install the files to your ppc through the mobile device center.

That's what I did. It said the cab file was successfully installed, but when I try to open Vehicle Manager, it says it's not a valid file.

It should have worked on your device........ I tried and installed it on 2 other ppc's using wm5 and they both worked.....Also I could not get my hands on a .cab file....
