Sidekick II PV-100 Unlocking, HELP!! - GSM-Forum

I have a Sidekick II PV-100, I believe it's made by Sharp, and it's simlocked from T-Mobile. Anyone has solution to unlock this phone, please help.

I have one, When i put my SIM card it can receive call but can't dial only said "connecting..."
How to unlock SIM from T...Mobile?

all of u guys first of all sidekick is made by danger www.danger.com and its original name is hiptop.
for unlocking i got this info but not tested it.

1. Register at developer.danger.com. Sign in, and click on the “Downloads” tab.

2. Download the following files:
• hiptop 1.1 sdk beta3
• t-mobile 1.1 color library files for build 57324
• htConsole Win32 v40194

3. Get a USB-to-USB-mini cable, and plug your SideKick into your computer. (Trim some plastic from the mini end so that
it fits into the SideKick.)

4. Unzip the hiptop 1.1 sdk beta3 folder and install the drivers (located in htConsole folder) on your computer using
the Add Hardware wizard.

5. Go to this URL, and enter your user ID and the device ID number from your phone's “System Info” screen. A device key
to unlock your phone will be e-mailed to you. Install it by opening htConsole on your computer and typing “flash
[name of device key]” in the command line.

If you would just read a little bit closer, it's not for SP unlocking, but application unlocking. Please read more carefully in the future.

P.S. As there is no open firmware, i.e., unbranded firmware, data wouldn't work even if unlocked. Only text and voice calls would work. I have the Danger programmer with firmware only for the various carriers it was released on.
