smartphones as speed camera detectors? - GSM-Forum

hi all

does anyone know if theres an application out there for symbian based (smartphones) phones which will do the same job as the gps snoopers that can locate speed cameras/gatzos etc etc?? obviously using a gps bluetooth receiver aswell... just wondered, id be surprised if there wasnt anything

m8 i use tomtom5 uk and its has POIs (points of interest) including the speed cameras- u can set it o that it beeps/makes a sound when near a camera, so its quite good.

does it? cool... ive got it too but im still waiting for my bluetooth gps receiver to arrive off ebay this week.... sorted then, i can use that! appreciate the reply
