Using the motorola mobile upgrade wizard, do the following:
1. remove SD and SIM and connect device
2. flash with part1.img 
3. disconnect and remove battery
4. replace battery
5. master reset
6. device ID should be displayed along with an error message
7. remove battery
8. replace battery
9. put in SD card (you need at least 32MB) and reconnect
10. flash with part2.img
11. flash with part3.img
12. disconnect device and remove battery
13. replace battery
14. master reset, but options are different now (choose clean reg hive and format storage)
15. wait until complete
16. enjoy

I have tested this on my MPX200, and it worked!

Yes a friend already told me, that the fw was WM2003 actually. And now u say is not correct. I believe on u both.
Thanks for the real WM2005 update.

However i read somewhere that not works for mpx220, only mpx200. Because that mpx220 has larger IC space.

Anyone got any news about mpx220? or if this works on mpx220 too?

Hi,

That is simple.
Your phone is SIM-Locked.

In lower versions like 1.25, 1.30 etc... asks u to enter network puk everytime. On higher versions 1.4x, it shows "ur phone has been disabled". So you have to input a working SIM, power it on and leave it for few hours, then power off, input invalid sim, and will ask for network puk again.

i got a cuestion ... is nesesary use a sd car ? can i install wm2005 without sd car?

If u mean on MPx220, I don´t know, but I guess no, since has bigger IC´s.
If u mean on MPx200, yes, because mpx200 ic´s size not enough.

No, I think 1.8.5 not accepts bin files. (But confirm)
I´m uploading other upgrade wizard (1.3.0) that accepts BIN files.

i have tested 1.2 on upgrading my friends mpx200 to wm2003

i hope luck on this 1.3.

ive read somewhere in the first page which in your procedure to chose mpx220.
should i choose mpx220 in upgrading to wm2005?
even if the phone is mpx200?
