Active G1 T-mobile without T-mobile simcard - GSM-Forum

all of G1 T-mobile in first time turn on need to sign in google with google account.
but dont have all setting of all operator for gprs or edg so folow up by image

1-turn on the phone

1-when tap to screen for continue

3 creat or login to google but you dont have any access to change setting for gprs- edg or wifi

4-turn on the phone and after 5 sec hold the menu and power at the same time the release power and hold menu till see the safe mode in the screen

5-when turned on the phone in safe mode press menu to enter to APNsetting

6- tap to APNsetting to enter to APN section

7-then pree menu you will see New APN

8-tap to New APN to creat new setting APN

9-enter Name of yor operator

10-enter APN of your operator

11-then press Save and turn off the phone

12-in the end u can connect to internet by your operator and enjoy from your G1

i learned it step by step with picture... so if u feel it isn't perfect i can tell u more

i done everything as u explain here but no chance to activate it, my simcard is gprs activated n in ur picture on ur phone screen one sign is displaying b4 the signal bar's , on my phone screen i can't see that one..........?
