Like someone else in the previous threads, I've installed Route 66 (build 545), and have the maps installed properly, but don't get voice navigation. The route shows up on screen (purple roads showing me where i go), and there's no mute on, and my phone's not on silent.

Does anyone know what's going on?

I'm also still having this problem... everything works 100% except for the audible voice commands. Anyone got some answers?? I've read dozens of posts here and can confirm the following:

1. Sound is ON (not muted)
2. Volume max
3. Warning tones ON
4. NOT in pedestrian mode

Could it be anything to do with the specific version installed? There seems to be a lot of versions of the same thing out there. I'm using Route66.545 version 7 with a South African map. I only have .lang files in the Lang folder (numerous languages). Should there be something additional??

If this is the case, i wont be able to put the Route 66 required folders on my card, can anyone think of a work around because it would be very helpful as i am relying on this program. Thanks

1st, download the file supplied
2nd, extract to your desktop
3rd, put your maps into the folder called system\apps\route66\maps on the desktop
4th, copy the system folder from the desktop to the root of the memory card

p.s i've put a batch file in here to, just extract and copy to your memory card root and run it from windows explorer this will un-hide your system folder (Opening your Eyes to all the good Stuff)

You need to be outside with the slide pad open, take a few minutes to lock onto sat. You can set it on VirginG3 but it doesn't really need GPRS cause you're using internal maps.

Your system file is there, it's hidden so make sure you show all hidden files.

thanks titan. yeah i tried stuff similar to that and managed to create apropriate signed .sis. just get certificate expired, date is not set correctly on install.

Managed to get it working now by changing the date on the phone to 2006 and back again. No idea why but seems things are moving now so hopefully once I manage to get mapa etc I'll be in business. Cheers.

yeah ive tried already to unhide the files, i did this through mass storage mode because it doesnt show up in the nokia suite conenction. I unhid it and pasted the system\apps\route66\maps and installed the Route 66.sis file and it still says that it cant find resources. I dont know what to do, and even though ive unhidden it, i still cant see it in file manager, i also tried formatting the card and it still didnt work. Any more help would be good. Thanks

you need the TOMTOM6 for S60v3 smartphones.

but map share is updated every week with new locations and poi's, etc

1st, uninstall route 66
2nd, delete all messages for inbox

(3rd, 4th and 5th if needed)

3rd, goto memory card, select backup phone memory
4th, factory reset phone
5th, restore backup of phone memory

6th, install route 66

well if u downloaded a SIGNED version from piratebay or other sources u might get that error.... to see if urs signed or not... when ur installin it on your phone it gives a summary and u can view the certificate... if theres 2 of them it means that its signed before... u need to get an unsigned version

well if u downloaded a SIGNED version from piratebay or other sources u might get that error....
Off course if you're using a SIGNED version it will already be signed to someone elses IMEI number, hence the Cert errror.:D

you need to factory reset your phone

due to a corrupt file on your phones memory

then route 66 icon will appear after you re-install it again.....!

installed any software in my mobile after installing the software the message

is appear on my screen is "Certificate Expired " can anyone helped me . i

every1 ---if you get "Certificate Expired " for anything,just set ur date back by 1year......
then you can install it,without the "Certificate Expired "message,,then put date back to normal,,,,app will still work
works on all s60 3rd mobiles----
so now no "Certificate Expired ":)

Use the DevCert tool to make a .csr file, once done go to Symbiansigned.com and use the csr file to request your cert file.

7.3.545 is the latest that will work with internal GPS
