6230 short circuited - GSM-Forum

Hello my colleagues,
I have N6230 with the short cut between VBAT and GND.
Is it wrong UEME?

100% Power amplifier ...same problem on 2 phones

I measure PA- PA is O.k.
I tryed take off a UEME and same problem.
Phone is short circuited.

Any ideas whats wrong?

remove all components one by one which is connected directly to VBAT. Check short cicruit after removed one component!
PA, UEMv2, puffer capacitor, helga rf ic, now i don't remember for all, but check schematic!

p.s.: ofcourse check PCB for water damage!

have this page for 6230 i think it can help you much for short circuit remove capacitor below 4R7 at battery terminal solve your problem of shortcircuit
