Member: 1023634 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Nokia E70 low signal problem My old and trusty E70 has recently developed signal strength related problem. When I compare it to another E70 (same firmware) it has around 2 bars signal less on both GSM and UMTS bands and when making a test call in low signal area it looses signal completely while other phone still manages to retain connection. Also it seems there is much more bit errors in conversation even with full signal. It may be unrelated but the only thing I did in recent time is refocusing camera module and I powered the phone up (forgot to activate offline mode) with no antenna assembly (back cover off). I rechecked that antenna seats properly and cleaned all contacts just to be sure so I don't think that is the problem. Does anyone has any idea what could be wrong with the phone, is it even worth bothering Nokia service center with this kind of problem? Thanks for any help! |
