Member: 317812 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Microsoft Dongle OK I found the thread for this http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/show...hlight=widcomm but it turns out there's no audio profile for the dongle. I'm using a different dongle now, but the license error keeps popping up. Sorry but can anyone tell me what to do?? It's getting so frustrating trying to find this information. Someone needs to mention the license.dat file needs to be in the driver folder and then patched... Anyone have any trouble pairing the mouse and keyboard? Member: 261621 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Here is my problem: I removed 5.1.0.1100 and went to install 5.1.0.1700. Won't install. Says it cannot upgrade the Widcomm BlueTooth Stack. What folder is the Widcomm BlueTooth stack located in?? I guess I need to remove it to install. Can't install the previous version now either. Comes up with same error. Now, my BlueTooth does not work at all because I can't install any version due to the above mentioned error.. Any help??? TIA Bill |

Member: 302465 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I'm having the same problem with 1700 that I had with 1100. Whenever I switch between user accounts on the same machine, I have to manually "Stop the Bluetooth Device" (from the context menu on the BT tray icon) then restart it. Aside from that, it works fine, both in XP Pro (before) and Vista Beta 2 (now). The same user account problem occurs in both operating systems. |

Member: 334566 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I am new the forum and have been attempting to get my MAc Book Pro Windows side to use the Widcomm drivers. I have downloaded this version and added the mod inf, I even added the VID/PID for my internal Apple Bluetooth device. However, after every install and un-install and re-install I can never get the drivers to recognize this device. I am hopeful some may be able to shed some light on the issue and release me from this nightmare. TIA Pete |

Member: 334566 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I did but I would not be 100% I did it correctly. I opened it set the device to match my internal BTW device and clicked save. Rebooted again and no luck. Is there a special way to run the license patcher? I could not find very detailed intructions throughout the forums. Pete |
