YOU NEED 3 PRODUCT TO REPAIR DEAD OR NOT BOOTING UFS ....
(1)MPROG FOR WRITING EEPROM
(2)UFS MAINTENANCE V20
(3)UPDATE AND FIXER

CONECT UFS AND ITS ASK YOU DRIVER IF NOT ASKING DRIVER SO

ITS SHOW YOU UNKNOWED DEVICE OR USB TO SERIAL

DEVICE...JUST FORCE HIM TO ACCEPT DRIVER IN MPROG DRIVER FOLDER.......BECUSE IT CAN

CONVERT IT TO FTDI...

NOW SEARCH IT IN MPROG NOW ITS SHOW YOU ONE PROGRAMED DEVICE FOUND=1

NOW WRITE EEPROM THAT I UPLOADED...

AFTER IT EXIT IN MPROG.......

NOW OPEN UPDATE & FIXER........

CONNECT IT AND ENTER YOUR ORIGINAL SERIAL....

TICK ON WRITE FIRMWARE AND WRITE EEPROM

AND CLICK ON FIX & UPDATE.....

IN FEW SECONDS....YOU DONE.......

REMOVE UFS CABLE AND INSERT IT AGAIN.......

DONE........UFS IS ALIVE.......

IF SERIAL NUMBER IS NOT COMING THEN USE UFS MAINTENANCE V20 TO BUILD SERIAL NUMBER.....
AND DO SAME PROCESS......

ALL OK TESTED 100%

POST RESULT IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEM........

i think this is only tested soft if you have any Professional Soft than why dont you post it here(ofcourse without password).

error erasing you must re-program your atmega by Hi-Lo system or MPlaB...UFS maintenance its only good for not corrupted hex on atmega....Mprog good only if box is detected or found the device if not still you have to pull out eeprom & re-program via external programmer.

hi, i also experienced erase error before and unfortunately i dont have external programmer that time. i have repaired my box by downgrading its firmware to 2.5 using DCTx 1.29. try it and it might repair your box.

DID YOU READED STEPS FOR FORCING ACCEPT DRIVER IN PROG FORDER.?BECUSE IF YOUR BOX DAMAGE OR BOOT NOT IN ATMEGA ITS FOUND AS UNKNOWED DEVIC.....THEN UPDATE ITS DRIVER TO FTDI AND PROG WILL FIND IT.......THEN TRY MY SOLUTION BY STEP BY STEP.....

I have a dead tornado but i cannot force im to accept the drivers it recognized as generic usb and when i point the drivers its doesnt accept
says"cannot find information about this hardware"
Im working in XP with SP2
Pls help me
