U600 black screen (no lcd no flex problem ) - GSM-Forum

Hello

I got few U600 with no display just black screen, thoug touchpad lights up.
The lcd and the flex works all fine with another pcb.

The phone can also make and receive calls , but just no display and no lights.

Did somebody had solved this problem ?

Hello I Have The Same Problem.
Black Display But When U Let Go Of Power Button The Phone Turns Off. If You Press * And # Together With On/off Button It Powers On And You Can Hear The Start Up Tone But Still No Display!!!
Tried Board In Working Phone But Same Problem, Flex And Screen Are Ok.

software problem/charging ic short..also charging jack not sure but in most other sets cases tested

I have the same problem on 5 U600
I have the schema component but not to test
Did you try a flash?

There's no need to flash neither reset , already done

All that works is to blindly fluxing and heating the pcb , take care of glued ics

I did this since don't know where it's from.

How did you reseted U600? Which device did jou use? I reseted my U600 with UST and the screen is still black
It is necassary to heat the pcb?
How did you repair yours U600

Sure there is one IC to resolder even one small compoenent, but since I don't know what is this,
I heat the whole pcb, and it's fine

Look if you find which component matters , I'll be thankful.
In fact there's not about heating the whole board to get it fixed,

But heating all the board to help the appropriate part to make contact again.

I have six one in this case and i am looking for the solution.
I repared one with Ns pro, i make a full reset, you enter in SERVICE after having select the model U600.
You make NVM full reset, custom reset, wap reset...... but not the latest one (Build defaut NVM). After this, you make lonely a "BUILD DEFAUT NVM" and You repeat and repeat this operation many times and it will screen "charging", after this, you must let the phone connected at the ns-pro and you switch on the phone.
You make*2767*3855# two or three times and when the phone restart you disconnect the u600 from the ns pro.
If it is ok, then make a fullflash.
Post the result, it can take twenty minutes to screen correctly.

dark screen and nothing more. I can call and recive calling but lcd is still black;/ and it is not flex;/
