We made dumping feature just to make firmwares for cover more languages and bring users more variants. That were clearly explained.
When we add forensic option, we will do that as it work with others - all files, made by BEST will be support, as it was before.

Let me clear something. There are plenty softwares over the all our close gsm industry who can make clear dump. Asked about it, cause I need solution for these 0,1% of phones which flashes readed by f.e. BEST are crypted. And I can pay for software that can do this, and also to be honest:

1. Do you remember Infinty Language packEdit ? I was one of first who bought it, typing over 3 months day by day to make my dictionaries. And guess what - some of out flashes were crypted/had own format. Cannot upload some of them to phones with other tools. It was annoying because Infinity had communication problems inside pinfinder (at least in mine). Later you sold version which output flashes weren't crypted, and problem dissappeared.

2. About BEST and nokia: you tell this dump feature is for cover more languages and variants. So explain me, why some flashes aren't present in download section? And only few people in Poland has them? Why here in our polish market people telling, that you promised (or taked money) not to publish them, is this true?

3. I can understand crypting flashes. You want to protect your work, but to be honest these times, there is much more better ways to do this. And sometimes I just want to work with plain flashes casue there is this possiblity (have own, not published pac's, loaders, etc etc).


Bring back to the topic, I am sure this software is good for not thinking about structure, loaders, sql, nand, etc etc people, who want only take user photo/sms/phonebook from damaged phones. And I think this is very good product for them, because it frees from thinking/learning/mounting/parsing, whatewer. I wrote that this software is not for me for two reasons:

1. It has not too much data recovery (for me)
2. I can do these things with other software (payed or not payed)

But I'll give it a chance, and buy this, cause it isn't expensive, and for now, for me this is only one reason

It is false. All received from peoples files tested on my samples and not found inside them any new langs, that support area have.
If you have that device, dump it and send me. FW will be at support area after few hours after receive it.

You should understand his words this way: once team will be ready to upload new files it will be uploaded. maybe now, maybe later, maybe never.

I really do not want to see you disappointed after you will test 10,000 files and 5% of them will be unrecognized.
My friendly advice: wait some time, maybe 6 months or maybe one year and buy tool ONLY when you RELLY need it !

I look at things differently than you do, I have to be prepared for action, sometimes in a few minutes (I've already had cases in which someone's life depended on the time the data was extracted). That is why, among other things, I wanted to know if and how your software can help me in what I need.


And this is the main reason why I buy software before I use it. Not because I'm professional or unprofessional, but because sometimes software and "free" solutions fail. And I must be prepared to exhaust all possibilities.
