That file is not available. Anyway, it's generic file. It just carries programmer name,
but since we know it's msm8916, that could be good starting point.

You can try with QPST, put programmer files in same folder where qpst exe is

C:\Program Files (x86)\Qualcomm\QPST\bin (64bit windows)
or
C:\Program Files\Qualcomm\QPST\bin (32bit windows)

there is just one thing i noticed ...

must be used alcatel loaders, and "trusted mode" in QPST, because loader (booting) is SIGNED.

and ... use 32-bit windows, best solution is WinXP if you can get hands on.

p.s. QPST accepts both HEX and BIN loaders.

Hi guys.
Just few cents here

This phone use firehose protocol, but alcatel maked own loader format what differ from generic qualcom format.
Most posible QPST will not help here, because commands used by qualcom loader what know QPST and alcatel loader differ.

anyway, using QFIL, may be some chances it will work or not ?

Only one way to find out ... attached is firehose loader ... test.

I didn't had time to test the firehorse from Sir BRKA yet.... Please
wich commercial box is able to flash it or to unlock the bootloader using firehorse qdloader 9008 please ? wich jtag in case of no box ?

I have tried everything I could try but unsuccesful... I'm about to throw it away so I'll try hardware methode even if I am not sure if it is not the rpm.mbn which is corrupted but phone is showing exlamation mark inside of a triangle while charging and battery is 0%

Hey there folks. I have an Alcatel One Touch 5042x (POP 2/4.5) and I need a stock rom for it in order to reflash it.

I have tried finding a proper rom for it but I couldn't find any readily available on any of my boxes support/Google.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The rom i'm looking for is for the european region, preferabily with english/romanian languages.

I have a cwm backup that I have found, but I can't install cwm on it, because the flash is completely messed up.

My 5042x after flash 5042d-2salru1 battery not charge and is low and phone doesn't start. Is there a way to get back fastboot again

At least two commercial boxes supports flashing of 5042 model,
use search to see which ones.

I finnaly have unbricked my ot-5042X. With the help of flash programmer from Brka and rawprogram.xml and patch0.xml and sahara. and aboot.img from deadlink (4PDA) that I modified I was able to enable fastboot again with QFIL.

I also happened to me. Computer freezes everytime I plug the phone but I disabled driver signature verification then I could back to stock using factory flasher 5042d
