Member: 100979 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Remove Patches - Merge more languages Because sometimes the patch code goes "over" other patches -e.g. showing temp and different date "Mo 10 Jan". In this case I have to remove the last one, than remove what I want and the re-apply the last one or exists a SHORTCUT that I don't know?? 2. I'd like to choose between Italian-English-Spanish menu languages. SIEMENS said me that I can't do it because no "language region packet" include all three langs. It's possible to "merge" a choosen language instead of one other -e.g. put Spanish over Arabian o Turke- ? And what did you say about T9 languages? Thanks a lot |

Member: 50673 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @fcortina: Great work! But please relocate it, it collides with Hourly Beep (7C8A0-7C8FC), Riza's Digital Clock (7C900-7C977), and Any Number Own Ringtone (7C980-7C9C8) and New Application Menu (7C9D0-7CB04). space at 07xxxx is full untill 7DE50, but please don't use free space form there because I'm going to put there my next patches routines. So please don't use the 07xxxx block. I really don't kwon other free areas situations, they are other patchers areas. Please add also old fw values to your patches, for easy deletion and avoid V-Klay prompts. Anyway, still best compliment! Lalo @El Possa: Quote:
That 2 patches of mine don't overlap, and if you want to have them both read carefull customization options (I have both applied). WBR Lalo Last edited by lalo.lerry; 01-11-2005 at 00:01. | |

Member: 89010 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Thanks to all that pointed me that -my patch collides with other patches -there is no undo information. I plan to do a new version including those changes. @lalo.lerry I must say that, for me, you are the master of S45i. I have an idea to use AT commands from patches. Can you give me any hints? For example, I would like to make a patch that calls 112 every day at 12:00 (this is a stupid example). For this, all I need is ATDT112 Do you know which routine I need to call to process an AT command? Thanks |

Member: 100979 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Sensor tool settings Hi, I've found on the web these settings for my S45i battery-tune-up: 0000:4183 0002:4221 0004:63461 0006:1011 0008:79 000A:62490 000C:106 000E:65233 0010:100 0012:0 The cell works quite fine, but I've found different parameters on another web page (thnks to Giro): 0000:3592 0002:4185 0004:62723 0006:1001 0008:78 000A:62450 000C:105 000E:65195 0010:100 0012:0 What do you think about these two settings? Which one works better? Or ... someone could tell me where I can find other *.blk Sensor Tool files for my Wonderful (thnks to ALL ) S45i? |

Member: 89407 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @ElPossa: what i am readed about these setting - it's other for every battery. it's something like calibrating for it - better is to have a exact voltmeter and measure these values directly and compare it with phone voltages. |

Member: 76708 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | I don't know how you can send AT commands from patches, but this can be emulated by filling the AT command line and calling a handler of that command. GetATCmdLine EQU 0EF00ACh ATArgs EQU 0054007h |

Member: 89010 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @redkin Thanks a lot. I was using that, but it seems that those routines are called _after_ the command is processed. Anyway it is a good starting point, because I can trace it back and see which is the initial routine that calls that. Let's see how far I get. |

Yesterday I get my 1st flash sms, since applying RFS and it was arrived as normal ones! Do you have any idea? Member: 50673 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 2 | @genetic: yes, I read it but didn't have time to answer. Screensaver patch is ready but still unpublished because I wanted to finish BLR v2, to avoid overlapping them. Tonight should pubblish both. Then I'll publish "missing events string in idle-screensaver", last patch before break (2 months). In that period no patch request will be accomplished, and even if I'll read the forum each day, could not have time to answer (sorry). BTW, RFS cannot be in any way responsable of not recieving a FlashSMS as normal. It uses normal fw routine to process FlashSMS... @fcortina: Redkin has answered you better than I could have done. Sorry, I've haven't studied ATcommand routines @misko: OK, no problem, mate! Sorry if in my break sometime I will not answer you immediately... I study in Italy of course, in Verona (north Italy, between Milan and Venice), and I'm studing.... you could not guess what! @all: "S45i MASTER or NOT MASTER"? "to be or not to be? that is the question!" Really, I don't consider myself THE S45i MASTER. I consider myself a very good S45i patcher, one of the best 5th, but I'm not THE master, simply because there isn't a S45i overall master, like Riza in SL45i. I mean, I know and probably use better than other patchers some S45i functions and routines, but cannot use or use in a worst way other less studied ones. So, for some things I consider MASTER Redkin, or Ntcn... I have to improuve myself on some aspects before you could call me "MASTER" Lalo |

Member: 89010 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | @Lalo: I know you have made many patches and I am always learning from them. I suppose you have a bag full of information, probably a bit messy. Is there any possibility that you pack all your secret files so that pupils, like me, use them? Italian is OK for me. @all: And same request to all of you patchers. The info that Redkin is providing me is very usefull and saves me plenty of time, so maybe we all can also share our tricks. This is why I release the source code and comments for my patches. |

My patching "bag" is so made: 1.S45i IDA decompiled fw: all in Italian, really messy, not complete and with some errors inside (of course my disasm undersanding grown day after day, my first attempts are poor and not complitely correct). I consider it unpubblishable because is mess and faulty in some parts. If I'll have time to translate it to English, and so recheck it, I'll pubblish. 2.S45i APIs, EQUs and fw understanding (fonts, RAM location, sk handlers, fw routines...): all in Italian, also this very messy. I consider it unpubblishable and have no time to make it pubblishable, now. 3.(Almonst all) my patches explained disasms: again, in Italian. I consider it pubblishable with not a big work (if not translate them). So, if you want it I can attach them here, as soon as I've time. Sorry, I know it's not the best part but this is the best I can offer now... I hope other patch masters will share their "secrets" with the community, or at least their patches sources (or better patch explained disasms) @Misko: Yesterday digging in fw I found something for you: OPEN A SPECIFIC FLEX MEM FOLDER: mov r12, #n ;n:0=when exit return in prevous folder 1=... in calling routine mov r13, #Offset mov r14, #Page ;r14:r13= P:Off of folder name string in ASCII, with ending byte 00 calls 0F5h, loc_F51DB0 ;open Flex Mem, in A:\ if r14:r13=0, otherwise in A:\folder_name Now you can finish your improuved java menu patch.
