First of all repairing N7100 and I9300 eMMC is NOT A 100% SOLUTION!!!

80% of these problematic phones NEED eMMC Chip Replacement.

This means you only have a 20% Success Rate on whatever Box or Tools you use.

The eMMC Firmware of Samsung VTU00M have serious FLAWS and BUGS and after analyzing the said firmware deeper, I even found that it has a self-destruct sequence. It means that the eMMC has a built-in command to KILL ITSELF!!!

I don't know if Samsung uses this "self-destruct" command and I AM NOT ACCUSING THEM that they use this command at all. I am just saying that it is there and I have confirmed that it is the ONE OF THE REASONS why the eMMC will loose Product name in CID[103:56] (This is not Product Name in BOOTLOADER... this is eMMC Product Name Only).

So in SUMMARY:

1. YOU WILL NOT REPAIR ALL EMMC PROBLEMS FOR SURE.
2. IF YOU GET 10 BAD PHONES, YOU WILL MAYBE REPAIR ONLY 2 of THEM (More than 2 if you are Lucky).
3. EVEN AFTER YOU REPAIR THE EMMC, IT WILL DIE AGAIN AFTER A FEW DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS etc...

So without further delay, here are the Tools You need:

1. ATF Box + Binary Repair Files for N7100
Download Here:
eMMC REPAIR FILES by d18.builder - 4shared

2. ATF eMMC Adapter (I used SmartGsm adapter)
3. 2 Pieces 100 ohms resistor 1/4 watts
4. Soldering Skills

Step 1: Modify eMMC Adapter (add 100 ohms STRONG Pull-Ups)

So here you will see that I added 2 resistors (100 ohms) to the CMD and the DATA0 of the eMMC Adapter. Both of the resistors act as a Strong PULL-UP to 3.3v.

Step 2: Connect Wires to the eMMC on the PCB

RED = CLK
YELLOW = Secondary CLK (not needed if using eMMC Adapter)
BLUE = CMD
GREEN = DATA0
PINK = 2.80v

Now here you will notice that both VccQ and Vcc are connected to 2.8V. The actual voltages used by the N7100 is 2.8v and 2.95v respectively, so 2.8V on both power sources should do just fine.

Step 3: Connect eMMC Adapter to ATF Box and perform "Normal Factory Erase"

What this does depends on the actual eMMC Specs version of the eMMC. It may erase USER AREA, BOOT1, BOOT2 and RPMB or it may just erase USER AREA and nothing else.

Step 4: Perform "Samsung Factory Format"

What this does also depends on actual eMMC Specs version... Check out the screenshot and logs to learn more.

Step 5: Perform "Write EXT_CSD Backup File"

Just write back the FIRST (Oldest) EXT_CSD Backup File for your eMMC. All EXT_CSD Backups are saved here:
C:\AdvanceBox Turbo Flasher\eMMC\EXT_CSD
\

Step 6: Perform "Write USER AREA"

Just Follow Screenshot...

Step 7: Perform "Write BOOT1"

Just Follow Screenshot...

Step 8: Final Checks
Click "Scan eMMC" and make sure eMMC is set to BOOT PARTITION : BOOT PARTITION 1

You should see something like this:
Code:
eMMC Boot Information
Revision 1.6 (for MMC v4.5)
BOOT PARTITION : BOOT PARTITION 1
PARTITION ACCESS : R/W USER PARTITION
PERM_BOOT_CFG_PROT : DISABLED
PWR_BOOT_CFG_PROT  : DISABLED
eMMC FirmW UPDATE  : DISABLED
EMMC CACHE SIZE : 0 KB
SUPER PAGE SIZE : 3584 KB
HC ERASE GROUP SIZE: 512 KB
USER AREA SIZE : 15758000128 BYTES
BOOT PARTITION SIZE: 2048 KB
RPMB PARTITION SIZE: 128 KB

Now you can de-solder the wires and assemble the Phone to check the final results of your repair.

If you get Problems/Errors in performing steps 1 to 8, then it PROBABLY means your eMMC is one of the 80% which needs replacement!

what is the best copper wire to make this repair? I currently use the internal wires of headphones original ear.
But I wonder what milimetragem (0.05 mm, 0.03 mm?) Right to do so without compromising or breaking any test point!

@ALL

Diagram shown above is ONLY for ATF BIG Metal Chrome Box!!!

It will work on MODIFIED PCB ATF BIG Box
It will work with NORMAL PCB ATF BIG Box as we'll

It will NOT WORK on ATF Nitro BOX
It will NOT WORK on ATF Lightning BOX

To make it work on ATF Nitro and Lightning Boxes, you need to MODIFY your NITRO or LIGHTING Box and say GoodBye to your Box Warranty.

So better buy eMMC Adapter (with SD CARD Reader).

@Bruno Rafael

I use 0.10 mm shielded copper wire. It is easy to solder and safe to use on ver small resistors (TP Area).

@SHIJILFONOTLY

Yes...

As explained in post #1, Vcc and VccQ can be powered by a single power source (eMMC Specs Allows this).

I have checked my I9300 and N7100 quite a few times and there was never a 1.80v reading on a actual LIVE phone. As mentioned in post #1, it was always 2.80v and 2.95v respectively.

@kupal kupal

Possible Problem is wrong pinouts or 100 ohms resistor was not connected.

Also possible, some BAD eMMC never even reply to RESET.
