Member: 2525707 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | Iphone 6 overheating after touch ic reflow Hi. I am in a big trouble. I "fixed" a iphone 6 that had the touchscreen not working. After the reflow of the touchscreen ic (U2401), the phone started oveheating at the top of the processor/PMIC, the battery is draining fast also. I searched for components out of its place or with solder bridges, but I find anything wrong. All the functions of the phone are working. Before the reflow the battery was ok. I think that I messed up with the PMIC or that I resoldered a faulty touch ic...any help is greatlly appreciated |

Member: 2554967 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | My IPhone 6 suddenly stopped connecting to T-mobile cellular service. When I turn the phone on it says "searching"for a little while then "no service". Wifi calling works but regular cellular calling and data does not. I've contacted T-Mobile and there is nothing wrong with my account. I tried the SIM card in my old IPhone 5 and it works perfectly fine so I believe there is a problem with the phone. I have tried resetting network settings, complete restore, going back to iOS 9.2.1, new SIM card...etc and it still does not work. Any ideas? I don't know if it is related but the front camera and ear speaker do not work and I found that the cable was broken. All other functions of the phone work perfectly fine. Thanks |
