Sure sim will not work. Try this -
After flashing SW 21 - Select ONLY RootFs and flash other sw. ONLY RootFs.
Should help.

yes before flash by other verion only click rootfs. phone normal on but menu give eorr.
after flash by 21 sw so now phone ok. sim and menu both work. Thanks DZirt

I have N900, it vibrate, show Nokia logo and restart and so on.
I don't know history of this phone, I get it in this condition.
Tried to flash but program doesn't "see" the phone. In devices manager is some reaction but don't know how and where it should be listed. Below is video of all procedure.

Notice that program react in some way on connecting phone bcos counter stop at 168 when phone is connectd.
What can I do else?

Did u follow all these instructions from DZIRT?

Need Select Maemo in generation (selected by default)
Need select MCU file
Press Check Files
Press Flash
Connect phone holding U button.
All is done, waiting till process finish.

Also use minimum 50% charge bettery and put usb cable direct to pc
dnt use any hub

Yes I did all this instructions (you can see it on video). Battery is fully charged, cable direct in PC. Even I tried on 2 PC, different USB ports and always the same result.

I was aeen only black screen, not video.
Anyway -
Reinsert battery.
Select Maemo
Press Connect/info
Press and hold U button on phone.
Insert cable.

It should works Ok.
Use cable directly to motherboard.
Use short cable.
Try different USB port on PC.
