Using Easy Jtag for Data Recovery

Hi

I thinking on purchase Easy Jtag just for data recovery work, mainly from dead phones. I don't need to repair or unlock phones.

Is it the ideal tool? Can I get the data (photos, videos, for instance) out of a dead phone PCB? Will I have any type of encryption problem or the data reads directly? Do you have any videos/tutorials for this?
Will it also work on tablets?

What do you suggest?

Thank You

You can use "EasyJTAG eMMC plus" tool and ""Emmc FileManger Addon" to extract dato from unencrypted disks from eMMC (ext, fat, ntfs)

Android 7 and 8 used encrypted userdata by default

Well, 90% of the android market phones still work under version 7 or 8.
So the chance of getting a phone decrypted is still high I think.
