Problem is new modem security in new versions, GC needs to investigate and update

The Exynos Unlock only functions as an MSL reset on T-Mobile devices - it does not unlock the SIM. There are many threads reporting success for this model on that version - maybe you can find some...

Keeping the screen alive seems to do the trick. So turn up screen timeout, or turn on the option where it never sleeps while charging
