help V3r repair/flash/unlock - but ON with 'flash mode' displayed - GSM-Forum

A customer came with a V3 phone as indicated on the label, but when tried to unlock, when open seal to access test point, the layout of the components in the area for test point are of same as V3r.

So I tried with Mototool v1.2.9, to check, and of course it is not really V3, 'made in china' phone.

So my staff tried to unlock it with V3r selected via test point and thewy received a result

"this firmware version is not supported...",

then they try PDS repair, then flash, then unlock done, BUT the problem now is, when turn mobile on, it displayed in 'flash mode' with this message:

"Boot Loader

R4515_G_08.BD.20I_GNPO_1_RFDI

OK to Program
Connect USB Data Cable"

Pls help me to solve this, give steps to restore this V3 new firmware, components layout as V3r, to fix and back to normal.

its smart clip, but its a V3 brought from USA, but components layout where TP is located are of V3r, not V3. Thats why I used V3r to unlock it, then firmware not supported, then pds repair, then flash, but appears as in Flash mode.

why? how to solve this?

i really need support on this.

I'am reflash more times v3r with full flash PDS repair ok success with(smart-clip) and NOTHING v3r dead and show on display only boot loader and SW.

so it means, smart-clip is starting to die? cant support and fix the above problem?

@ Eddie, could u pls clarify what u meant for? I able to PDS repair the V3r, but how did u fix the problem with 'flash-mode display' on v3r?

I got it, GOT it, i have same problem. customer broght same problem like you and i tried to flash the phone as v3r and flashing stop at 12% with clip commuincation failed message. phone can connect to smartclip with tp method or without tp method even without battery or external power. i can make pds repair, unlock but not full flash. the phone sw version was R4515. am trying to flash lower version and lower boot version. I have opned one thread about it. mr.tinkertrain told tp shortened.but that was not the case. tp was good.
