Don't lie, man! UB team sold hundreds of boxes and this forum section would be hell if 95% were dead. Maybe 4% or 5% went dead, but instructions for replacement were already given!

I hear Many people tell that thing, very a lot say that UB is products fail and a lot dead. why UB team not give description to the effect that this?

Hi,

This is not UB problem, FTDI eeprom overwritten.
To repair this problem, follow the instructions:
1, Download and install http://ftdichip.com/Resources/Utilit...g3.0_Setup.exe
2, Download http://universalbox.com/temp/UB_unique.ept
3, Connect only the bad UB box to PC.
4, Run Mprog, load the UB_unique.ept write it to the box
5, Disconnect and reconnect the box.

I am in Brazil and I made the cited procedure and I did not obtain to make with that mine ub came back to function.

If the "SMCU boot version xx.xx" not showing after the "MCU boot version yy.yy" then your box need to replacement. Please ask replacement from your reseller., if apply your sw not valited o\r yes??

I made the procedure and ub did not decide mine. It has pass-the-pass?

apply your ub.ept but this screen message, AND AFTER APPLY IN SW, AND REPAIR BOX BUT SCREEN MESSAGE

terminated with error: no divece opened(00000001)
mcu boot versiyon 1.069 and up to date
device open failed at USB universal box (UBN3D3K1)

please help me, i dont money send to i phone, and apply money

SMCU is damaged. No solution (public domain solution) with SW upgrade. Just replacing the box.
