Yes Rooting i guess would work. However rooting this specific model seems not possible with countless method on net. the only root that actually work are with custom rom which i also tried and work. However the issue is that once rooted on this custom rom octopus cannot detect the model.
if there are any solution to root please advise. i had gone through this forum and few others XDA, MartinView, gsmdevelopers & youtube with all responds showing no success.
Patch boot.img files also cannot work on this new security patch as yet.
the only solution which i stated working but with custom rom is with link below incase this might help someone to come up with a root method with official A217f U3 firmware.
