| This method also works for notebooks. I did it successfully in two Acer, one HP and two "no-name" notebooks (withour brand, just oem). But the problem with this method is that you must disassemble de computer, by removing the keyboard, and depending on the model, some pieces more.
So, search first, 'cos maybe you can find a way to do it without opening.
