One thing though you should be aware of is that the casing around the CPU is soldered to the board and is not very easy to remove. Do this with extreme caustion, or you'll end up with a dead board.

And yes, if keys not working, you have in 90% of the cases with this phone model a CPU problem. Either reflow it after removal of casing or even batter reball it.
