I'd like to clarify the history of my box, this one

This box has always given me trouble (probably defective). Works on only one usb port among many operating systems/computers with/without usb hub.
Was working fine before current update plugged in via extension usb cable. After new update old problems returned. Now plugged into that same usb port WITHOUT the usb extension cable and working fine again.
So problem solved for now, thanks
