| the 226 is 850/1900 mhz and the 230 900/1800mhz, the hardware is different too not just the software, the higher or lower frequency is disabled to pass with special filters, capacitors, resistors etc, they must have exact and correct values, so only one specific section of the frequency can pass. you need to do some special modification on the board, to get this conversion done correctly. And even if u get the modification done it wont work as good as the original. usually these mod boards have very bad reception and transmition, and only work close to the tower where the signal is very strong. |
